Job Description -

  1. GEM Executive for Government (Tenders/ GEM Portal) Duties & responsibilities

  2. Must have experienced in Government E-Market Place, Driving Sales and business opportunities in the form of Government bids and tenders through GEM/ E-Procurement Portal.
  3. Should be able to update product/service catalogue in GEM portal.
  4. Deletion or Updating of New product /Specification/prices.
  5. Prepare all tender documents in the specific formats related to the bid submit the documents in stipulated time limits on the above-mentioned portals.
  6. Good knowledge of Government Tender Online & Offline Filling. Should have the knowledge of submission of Bids like Bunch Bid, Reverse Bid, Custom Bid and Normal Bid.
  7. Coordinate with the respective officials and document the progress of the tender
  8. Handling a high volume of customer enquiries floated under the GEM portal.
  9. Acting as contact points for all Government agency or organizational personnel.
  10. Keeping lists of the Government agencies or personnel representing the person, agency, or organization.
  11. Develop, maintain, and intensify contacts with relevant government departments and authorities.

Job Description -

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive/ Manager to manage the complete purchasing process. He/She will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing IT hardware, software, and electronic equipment as per company requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers for IT and electronic products.
  2. Handle procurement of IT hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, servers, networking devices, CCTV, etc.) and software (licenses, renewals, subscriptions, etc.).
  3. Manage purchase of electronic components, lighting products, and related accessories.
  4. Prepare request for quotations (RFQs), evaluate bids, and negotiate prices and payment terms to achieve cost efficiency.
  5. Prepare purchase orders (POs) and follow up with vendors for timely delivery and invoice submission.
  6. Maintain detailed procurement records, vendor data, and price comparisons for audit and reference.
  7. Coordinate with technical, IT, and accounts departments to understand requirements and ensure accurate specifications before procurement.
  8. Track inventory and stock levels of IT and electronic items, and initiate purchase requests accordingly.
  9. Maintain AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and warranty records for IT equipment and software.
  10. Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, quality standards, and budget limits.
  11. Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery or quality issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  12. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives for the department.
  13. Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and reports.
  14. Stay updated with market trends, new technologies, and pricing in IT and electronics.

    Skills & Requirements:

  1. Graduate / Diploma in any stream (preferably in IT, Electronics, or Supply Chain Management).
  2. 3–6 years of relevant experience in IT & electronic procurement.
  3. Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
  4. Good knowledge of IT products, peripherals, and software licensing.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP/purchase management systems.
  6. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  7. Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
