Job Description -

The IT Support / Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation of all hardware, software, and network systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to support end-users efficiently

Key Responsibilities: -

  1. Provide first-level and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows/Mac operating systems and software applications.
  3. Resolve issues related to networks, Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, and basic server support.
  4. Manage and troubleshoot email setups, MS Office, Outlook, and cloud applications.
  5. Perform system updates, patch management, and antivirus monitoring.
  6. Set up user accounts, permissions, and access control as per company policies.
  7. Maintain IT inventory including systems, accessories, and licenses.
  8. Document technical issues, solutions, and maintain support logs.
  9. Assist in hardware upgrades, system maintenance, and routine checks.
  10. Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, replacements, and AMC support.

Skills & Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant technical field.
  2. 1–5 years of experience in IT support or desktop support role.
  3. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking basics, and hardware troubleshooting.
  4. Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and ticketing systems.
  5. Good communication, patience, and customer-service orientation.
  6. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
